Резюме: Amitesh Omar will present an overview of activities at the new astronomical site "Devasthal" in Indian Himalayas. This site is dark and at high altitude of 2500 meters. Some images from the recently installed 130-cm fast F/4 telescope at Devasthal will be presented. The opportunities exist for people to observe with this telescope in collaboration with Indian astronomers.
