Hohe blumen blassen oder brechen,
Es erblasst und bricht der weiher glas
Und ich trete fehl im morschen gras,
Palmen mit den spitzen fingern stechen.
Murber blatter zischendes gewuhl
Jagen ruckweis unsichtbare hande
Drau?en um des edens fahle wande.

Raffles hotel

Raffles Hotel is a colonial-style luxury hotel in Singapore.It was established by Armenian hoteliers, the Sarkies Brothers, in 1887.
The hotel was named after British statesman Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles, the founder of Singapore.
The hotel commenced Phase 3 of a three-phase restoration programme on 13 December 2017, with reopening planned for August 2019.

Snt Andrew's Cathedral

Saint Andrew's Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral in Singapore, the country's largest cathedral.
It is near City Hall, MRT Interchange in the Downtown Core, within the Central Area in Singapore's central business district.
A church existed on the site since 1836, the current church however was built in 1856–1861.
The logo of the Cathedral is the St Andrew's Cross.

CHIJMES is a historic building complex in Singapore, which began life as a Catholic convent known as the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus.
The complex is located at Victoria Street in the Downtown Core, within the Central Area, Singapore's central business district.
The complex was used as a Catholic convent since 1852
The Caldwell House, currently a wedding venue, and the Gothic-style chapel, renamed as CHIJMES Hall , currently a function hall and also a wedding venue,
have both been gazetted as national monuments.

Snt Joseph's Portuguese church

Saint Joseph's Church is a Roman Catholic church in Singapore.
It is located along Victoria Street in the Rochor Planning Area, within the Central Area of Singapore's central business district.
The church was constructed from 1906–12 with its foundation stone laid in 1904.
The building was built in the Gothic style by the Portuguese Mission.

The National Museum of Singapore is the oldest museum in Singapore.
Its history dates back to 1849, when it was started as a section of a library at Singapore Institution and called the Raffles Library and Museum.
After several relocations, in 1887 it moved to its permanent site at Stamford Road in the Museum Planning Area.
