Abstract: Information of the ground positional observations of Phobos and Deimos during the 1988 oppositions and the results of orbit improvements of the satellites are given. Utilisation of the great number of new precise observations led to remarkable proximity of the satellite positions predicted for 1989 on the base of ground observations and those on the base of cosmic observations.
