Abstract: Results of the repeated reduction of positional observations of Phobos and Mars using reference stars of the FOKAT-S catalog are presented. The data were previously processed by the trace-scale method. It is shown that, if the images of Mars and Phobos are not sufficiently good, a reduction on the basis of reference stars has advantages, since it makes it possible to obtain spherical equatorial coordinates of Phobos which are significantly more accurate than relative ones (Phobos-Mars).
