Abstract: Photographic positional observations of Mars and its satellites Phobos and Deimos were carried out at the Abastumani Observatory during July-August 1986 with the AZT-11 telescope in the framework of the Phobos program. The data analysis procedure is described, and observational results are compared with the ephemerides. It is concluded that the analysis shows that the AZT-11 telescope is well suited for determining the precise coordinates of Mars and its satellites within the Phobos program.
